Privacy Policy

What we collect

• When you sign up: your e-mail address, name, profile URL, gender, birth date and country (artists: band name and genres). Your password is stored only as a secure hash, never as plain text.
• What you add: your profile, photos, songs, blogs, comments, bulletins, messages, forum posts and so on.
• Photos: hidden information inside uploaded photos (such as GPS location and camera details) is removed when you upload them.
• Logins: failed login attempts are recorded with the IP address for up to one day, to stop password guessing. Like most websites, the web server also keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses.

Who can see it

Your profile is public. Your e-mail address, birth date and last name are not shown to other members
(your age is), though someone who already knows your exact e-mail address can use it to find your profile in Search. Private messages are only visible to you and the other person. Like any website, the people who
run the server can technically access the database; admins only look at private data when investigating a
report or a problem.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you logged in, and a "Remember Me" cookie for up to 30 days if you tick that box.
There are no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.

Other websites

Images that members link from other websites are copied to AniMySp@ce, so your browser doesn't contact those
sites when you view a profile.

Selling data

We don't sell or share your information with anyone.
